The City of Ottawa’s four supervised beaches, Britannia, Mooney’s Bay, Westboro, and Petrie Island, are open daily from June 21 to August 24. Water samples are taken weekly from each of these sites to determine the level of E. coli in the water and whether it is safe for swimming.
